Course of Action

  • Move School Organizations (O) into the District Organization as Organizational Units (OU). This will prevent the Schools from having to tree-walk up, over and down to reach the District-wide servers.
  • Reorganize Replica partitions. Currently, we have two replica rings that have duplicate servers.

Login Scripts

  • Remove "exists.txt", school txt scripts and move to full NDS include scripts

On the subject of NDS include scripts: 

   A login script can include another object that has a login script. 
So a login script can be created at the Organization level and the 
Organizational Units can then include the Organization. For example, 
if O=Novell has a login script, then insert INCLUDE .O=Novell in the 
OU=ENG.O=Novell login script. Remember to put a leading "." to start 
searching for Novell at the root, instead of below the current context. 
The subcontainer must also be granted [R ] to the Login Script property 
of the other container.
